DRAW AND PAINT FROM A MODEL AT SWOCC

The Friday figure painting group begins the Fall term at Southwestern Community College on September 18^th  for ten sessions. A different model poses each Friday for a total of three hours.  We begin with 20 minutes of short poses, then have one pose for the remainder of the session.

We encourage everyone to try this out.  Most any mediums can be used, including oil paint. If painting seems intimidating, bring a sketchbook and try sketching from different angles. 

Hours are 12:30 – 4pm.  The model begins at 1pm but we ask people to come early to set up. The cost is $10 per session, which pays for the model.

Try it!  We are a small, friendly group and are happy to discuss materials, techniques and make suggestions if you would like that.
