Archi Davenport

Archi Davenport is a Bay Area Artists Association member, past President and “Featured Artist of the Month” Chairperson. She joined the art association in 1999 and was membership chairperson in 2005 -2007. Since 2020 she has been active in and organizes the local Tuesday Plein Air Painters.

Artist Statement

Photography was my media for 40 years; it allowed me to capture and see the light and the beauty I find around me and in my travels. Now that I am retired I can turn to these images and the outdoors to paint in oil, Acrylic, watercolor, or pastel. Plein Air has become my passion as I can enjoy the outdoors and capture the beauty of nature.
